Family fun, networking and powerful education programs combined to make the California Landscape Contractor's Association's summer meeting quite the extravaganza! Held at the Resort at Squaw Creek July 27 - 30, the event drew rave ratings from the more than 170 attendees. "The venue was awesome, the events fun, the speakers worthwhile. During the General Membership meeting, attendees were briefed on CLCA's involvement in an important water task force. The slate of candidates for CLCA's 2006 elected offices was introduced, and John Vorbeck (at left, with 2005 CLCA President Barbara Alvarez) was named a Life Member. | ||

| During the extravaganza, the Women Auxiliary's named their Member of the Year, Nelson Colvin, shown with Auxiliary President Jill Crudup. Auxiliary members were widely praised for their Mardi Gras on the Lake fundraiser for LEAF scholarships. They also won praise for the spectacular goodie bags they provided attendees. | |||
