2010 Landscape Industry Show

Don’t Hibernate ... Dominate!

Award-winning displays, the latest and greatest landscape products and equipment and educational seminars by some of the most respected experts in their fields were all on tap for CLCA’s 31st annual Landscape Industry Show, Feb. 3 and 4, 2010 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Well known as the West’s largest and longest-running show for green industry professionals, this year’s LIS shaped up to be the best ever.

Entry Garden

Jon R. Alsdorf CLT did another amazing job at designing the entrance garden. The colors, beauty and smells transformed the normally sterile show hall into a beautiful indoor paradise. We had a lot of exhibitors that contributed to the efforts at this years show, we want to thank them:

Bustling Business

Despite some apprehension about the economny, many exhibitors reported great turn-outs both days of eager and enthusiastic potential clients.

On-Floor & Hands-On

We had great participation with our on-floor educational demonstrations this year. We also had a live wall building demonstration, featuring Celtik Wall by Belgard, who believe in the "show and grow" method for product training and getting more attendees at this show.

Continuing Education: Experience You Take Home With You

One of our goals this year was to bring in some classes that offered our attendees some CEU credits. So we worked with Planet and DPR to make sure our classes would help contractors hit their Continuing Education goals. Stay Green, Inc. did an amazing Tree Pruning demo with the help of donations from Valley Crest and Pardee Tree Nursery. (Watch the demo on You Tube.)

This is only the beginning — we are going to continue bringing in even more certifications for the 2011 show.

Getting It Together

One of the distinct advantages of attending and exhibiting at the Landscape Industry Show are the countless opportunities for networking and relationship building. Tuesday Night’s reception brought together members, suppliers and friends.

Please join us next year on January 12-13, 2011 at the Los Angeles Convention Center for the original 36th Annual Landscape Industry Show.
