"Nuts and bolts" leadership training that participants can take home and immediately implement is the focus of the California Landscape Contractors Association's 2011 Leadership Conference, to be held January 11 in Los Angeles.
"The Leadership Conference and keynote speaker Bill Arman will deal with what needs to change to make our members more effective at leading their chapters and, by inference, their businesses," said CLCA 2011 President Robert Wade, CLP, CLIA. "It will be hands-on, nuts and bolts information — not a bunch of theories or history."
That mindset will carry over to the afternoon session, where chapter leaders and invited guests will network and sharpen their business management and leadership skills.
In the evening, the association will install its 2011 Board of Directors and honor members for their outstanding contributions. In addition to dinner, the ceremony and events offer plenty of opportunities to mingle with old friends and network with colleagues. It promises to be an evening of energy, excitement and entertainment.
Special Thanks To Landscape Contractors Insurance Services for sponsoring the keynote.
