The certification program was created to recognize proficiency in the landscape workforce, upgrade the status of the landscape professional and provide the public with a means of identifying qualified landscape professionals. Test applicants endure a rigorous series of tests including actual fieldwork and written exams in order to prove they are among the best in their field.
